Ode to Rauschenberg is a class drawing its inspiration from the influential artwork of Robert Rauschenberg. We will make art with found objects, newspaper, paint, glue, magazines, etc. We will show you the simple technique of transferring. If you would like to work on a painting please bring your own stretched canvas or the canvas and the bars (we will help you stretch them). This class is about experimentation and free thought so please have that frame of mind with you when you come in. We should have a lot of the supplies, however if you have something specific in mind, please bring it in. We are not mind readers. |
